ABOUT ME
Victoria Handbury-Madin (MCIOF)
Thank you for visiting my website. I am a Charity Consultant based in Shropshire, supporting charities through the set-up process and with governance, development, mentoring, and training.
After graduating from the University of St. Andrews with a master’s degree, I began my career in the charity sector at Barnardo’s, in 2007, working predominantly as a Corporate Partnerships Manager. I have since worked in a freelance and employed capacity for local, national, and international charities, including as CEO of The Movement Centre, based in Oswestry.
In 2019 I co-founded the Shropshire Charity Network, which delivers virtual and in-person bi-monthly meetings for people working within the charity sector. They are a fantastic platform for individuals to get together, hear from a range of speakers and share ideas and challenges.
I returned to full time consultancy work in 2020 and I currently work with charities from across the UK to help reduce risk and increase impact.
I would love to hear from you. Every relationship I have with a charity is different, so if there is anything you think I may be able to help with, please do get in touch.
